(The picture above is from last fall. It wasnt an acutal bike ride either, just testing out the seats when we first got it, thus no helmets. I didn't get any pictures from today's bike ride.)
Well last fall when we got the bike trailers, we used them ONE time. I was quite disappointed because of the babies strong dislike of them. Well it was more the strong dislike of the bike helmets Mommy was enforcing. Fast forward to today, we tried the dreaded bike trailers again. It was my grand idea to do it, hey why not, I wanted to get my money's worth out of those things. So we loaded both bike trailers up and the bikes and headed off to our local bike trail and park. We almost forgot those pesky helmets, but I remembered just as I was about to pull out of the driveway. I brought their favorite snack trap cups loaded with their favorite snacks, in hopes that would sway them to love the bike ride. The moment of truth came, I loaded them into their spots in the trailers, put the helmets on and waited for the screams and protests. But to my surprise there was NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I handed them their snack cups, almost in shock of this great news. We quickly got on your bikes and started to ride. Squeals of delight came from the bike trailers. Who knew this would turn out to be a fantastic bike ride. We rode for over an hour on the trail and they loved it. Once we finished up we let them get out and play on the toddler playground area.
Watch out bike trail, we are going to be taking advantage of this new found activity and be getting our money's worth out of these trailers!!

Thanks for the recipe idea for the strawberries. I didn't make the muffins because I didn't have bananas, so I found a yummy bread on that site. It's baking now. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Funny that you posted about the bike trailers. I was just telling my husband that I want one and a seat for our trio. Our bikes are collecting way too much dust in the garage. I know the kiddos would love it. Did you buy yours new? I'm hoping to find some used, to save a $$$.
I have made that Strawberry bread too and its really good! I also had thought about giving you that recipe! Hope it turns out yummy.
We got ours new and on sale, right now they are on sale again at amazon. I wanted used too, but couldnt find any with all the features I wanted.
