6 Months Old!!!!!

We turned 6 months old today and celebrated by going to the doctor for our 6 month check up and immunizations! Yucky!!!! We got 4 shots total, 2 in each leg. That is a total of 12 shots for Mommy and Daddy to have to witness. Talk about being worn out after that doctor visit. On the positive note we are doing well and are on the charts for our weights. We weighed 16.1, 16.9 and 14.8. Growing everyday! We are growing out of our size 3-6 month and 6 month clothes! We havent even started solid foods yet, I can only imagine how they are going to pack on the pounds then. We are going to start cereal in a few weeks.

Sick Times

Time for a breathing treatment

Well it finally happened, the babies got sick. However, I caught it at the onset and got them promptly to the doctor. We now own a nebulizer and have been giving breathing treatments as needed to help with their breathing. It hasnt been too severe at this point, just some coughing, sneezing, some wheezing, and a little more crusty boogers in the noses. Could be alot worse, but I have been pretty scared about RSV and not wanting it to turn into that.

We went to the doctor for a recheck today and the babies decided to give their best screaming performance to date. Yep, I never realized that they could scream so loud, hard and for as long as they all three did, at the same time, might I add. And of coarse this was the day that I had to take all three of them by myself. Needles to say, I was worn out by the time we got home.

Exersaucer Time

We love our new exersaucer and are learning how to use it each day! We had a great Christmas and had lots of family visitors. Now we are trying to get back to our normal routine, but are doing well. The babies have been sleeping so well that we cannot complain one bit. They slept last night from 8:30-6:30am, took a bottle and went right back to sleep until 9:30am!!! I woke up and looked at the time and immediately got up and looked in the crib to make sure everyone was okay! They are moving into their own cribs tonight in their nursery. No more mommy and daddy's room. Mommy is a little nervous about it, but its way over due.
