Backyard Water Park

So if our other pool didn't have a hole in it right now, we might just be able to charge admission to our backyard water park. Thanks to our one and only Uncle and Auntie, we now have these great zoo animal pool and sprinkler set. The trio had such a blast yesterday playing and splashing. They still weren't too sure about the whole going underneath the giraffe, but maybe after a few more tries they will be pros at it.

Bike Trailers

(The picture above is from last fall. It wasnt an acutal bike ride either, just testing out the seats when we first got it, thus no helmets. I didn't get any pictures from today's bike ride.)

Well last fall when we got the bike trailers, we used them ONE time. I was quite disappointed because of the babies strong dislike of them. Well it was more the strong dislike of the bike helmets Mommy was enforcing. Fast forward to today, we tried the dreaded bike trailers again. It was my grand idea to do it, hey why not, I wanted to get my money's worth out of those things. So we loaded both bike trailers up and the bikes and headed off to our local bike trail and park. We almost forgot those pesky helmets, but I remembered just as I was about to pull out of the driveway. I brought their favorite snack trap cups loaded with their favorite snacks, in hopes that would sway them to love the bike ride. The moment of truth came, I loaded them into their spots in the trailers, put the helmets on and waited for the screams and protests. But to my surprise there was NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I handed them their snack cups, almost in shock of this great news. We quickly got on your bikes and started to ride. Squeals of delight came from the bike trailers. Who knew this would turn out to be a fantastic bike ride. We rode for over an hour on the trail and they loved it. Once we finished up we let them get out and play on the toddler playground area.

Watch out bike trail, we are going to be taking advantage of this new found activity and be getting our money's worth out of these trailers!!

Bounce Mania

We had a blast today playing at the new indoor bounce/slide/climb place. In another year or two, I will get to be like all the other mothers there who got to sit a their table reading gossip magazines and chatting on their phones while their kids ran around wearing themselves out. I on the other hand got to wear myself and the kids out while climbing up and down these great slides/bouncy houses with triplets. Good thing Daddy was able to help out too or it would have been impossible! They even had a little toddler play area, which was a nice break for the weary triplet parents.

Father's Day

We spent part of Father's Day at a little Farm Festival. We saw some Farm animals and had a hay ride. We had a great time with Daddy and Grandpa on Father's Day!

Splish Splash

Yesterday we transformed our "ball pit" into the swimming pool it was ment to be. Now if someone would volunteer to pick up all those balls off the floor in the boys' room that would be great. Hmm, no takers, okay I guess I better go take care of that. Hmm... 300 small balls all over the floor here I come!!! Yippee!!

***Update: Okay so my count of 300 balls was a bit off....it was more like 750!!!! And NO I didnt count them, the bags they came in said 250 balls per bag!

Messy Times

Exlporing with goop (cornstarch and water) for the first time.

Getting wet with some soapy water. The Soapy water was originally brought out to help clean off the goop from little hands, but quickly turned into another source of fun.
