Merry Christmas!!!

We had a fun day full of presents, making a pumpkin pie, having a good Christmas Dinner with the Grandparents and most importantly getting to play with all our new toys! Unfortunately for Mommy, we didnt want to pose for a cute triplet Christmas picture.

Christmas Eve

We had a good time celebrating Christmas Eve at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We also were able to spend some time with our Auntie, Uncle, and baby cousin.

Painting

We have been cooped up in the house due to sickness. Its the neverending sickness..it just keeps going around and around.
We have used our easel for drawing on with crayons and chalk, but this was our first attmept with paint. I was finally able to get the paint cups and brushes needed for the painting part. It went well, good thing there is no carpeting on the floor or that could have been a huge mess!! So I think we are going to break out the paint again this afternoon. I need another easel, two sides just isnt quite enough for some reason.
The water table also served as good times with soapy bubbles. It also doubled as the cleaning your hands off after painting table.

Just Being Silly

The kiddos were looking at some fish in the big aquarium. I tried to get a nice group shot of them looking at the camera, but as you can see from the pictures below that didnt happen.

MOMs Christmas Party

We attended our annual Moms of Multiples Christmas Party last weekend. The kids had a good time exploring, coloring, painting, snacking, watching a magic show, and of coarse seeing Santa. We didnt go to the party last year, so this was their first one. The boys were a bit more willing to sit on Santa's lap than the little Princess. It took me telling her that Santa was like her "Papa" to get her to sit on his lap. However, by the end of the party she did give Santa a hug bye.

Zoo Trip

The trio had good time "brushing" the goats in the goat petting zoo area.

Hugging on the big green lizard was pretty fun too!

We were watching the Gorillas play.

We love Gorillas! They said they wanted to give the Gorillas hugs and kisses. I had to inform them that would not be a good idea.

Halloween

The Three Little Pigs had a great time with their Pig costumes. Fortunately, the Big Bad Wolf didnt find us!

We managed to get a lot of use out of the costumes this year. We had 1 Halloween Parties, 1 Halloween Themed Story Time, a Zoo Halloween Event, and dressing up to visit Grandpa at work. I think the kids were starting to think the new thing was to dress up in the pig costumes and then go do something each night. Now what theme are we going to do next year???

Three Little Pigs Preview

Watch out Big Bad Wolf, we are not afraid of you.

Sarah Palin

So, I am not officially endorsing the McCain/Palin ticket here, just decided on a whim to go see the infamous Sarah Palin. I did rather enjoy her SNL skit last Saturday, so I thought why not.

Fireman

The other day in a desperate attempt to buy some time to get dinner started, I got out some winter hats and gloves for the kids to play with. I thought they might enjoy it for a minute since it was something new and they really have started to play more dress up. Well several days later the box of hats and gloves has managed to continue to impress and excite 3 little toddlers. The funniest thing is that the boys claim they are a "Fireman" when they have the gloves and hats on. They even go so far at wanting to put the black gloves on their feet. At first I couldn't figure out where they got that from, but then one of the boys brought me one of their little fireman figures and it all made sense. The little fireman had on black gloves and black boots, as well as a hat.

My little princess prefers to just try on the hats and gloves with out being a "fireman".

She also felt that Mommy needed to take a picture of her baby. Then she asked for me to turn the camera around so she could see the picture on the screen of the digital camera. Granted she didnt say it like that...it was more like "picture baby" "turn around...camera around....see it..."

Rocket Cake

I was busy this past weekend making a Baby Einstein Rocket cake for one of our friend's birthday party. I made the regular cake and then made a mini rocket cake. However the mini rocket actually wasn't so mini. It was fun and I enjoyed the challenge. It actually seemed easier than the Monkey cake I made for my trio's party, I think less cutting and configuring of cake pieces. This birthday party was also my trio's first kid birthday party to attend. So that was really a fun experience for them as well.

Elephant

We had a great time at a recent trip to the zoo. One of the favorite spots is the elephants.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch this morning. The trio had a great time exploring and trying to pick up all the big pumpkins. They quickly learned they were too heavy and said "man pick it up" or "Pumpkin too big". We also go to watch Baa Baa Black Sheep have her wool sheared off. That was pretty intersting to watch.

Cash Brothers

The boys are loving their new Johnny Cash shirts. They call them their "guitar shirts".
