You've got your hands full!

This is a comment I get a lot when I am out with the babies. I guess its true, but sometimes I get annoyed after I have heard it about 1,000 times in 5 minutes while trying to get down the aisle in the store with 3 restless toddlers.

Ode to Dogs

Okay so the trick to get them to stand together at once and to look outside at the same time is called "Oh look at those Dogs outside!" Thank you neighbors for your outside dogs to entertain my children and let me capture a few sweet triplet themed photos here and there.

Pumpkins

The babies are loving the Pumpkins. They look like balls to them, which are one of their favorite toys. They also love to eat them, cooked that is.

My Hair is Growing!

My Mommy is getting so excited because my hair is growing longer everyday! She can now put mini pigtails in my hair, and she loves it. Now if I could only resist the urge to pull them out!

Wipes Anyone?

So the new fun thing to do is pull all the wipes out of the wipes container. It actually makes it easier to use the wipes at a later date now, since they are all separated!

Applesauce

So when do you have enough applesauce? What exactly is the cut off point? Is it when you have no more space for the applesauce that you say I think we might have enough now, or do you continue to get more? I really am not sure yet!

When you tell your darling husband to get some all natural no sugar applesauce, he really will get some applesauce, including several fruit flavors. I guess the stuff is hard to find, so when you see it you better stock up! LOL

Great Web Site

So I normally dont talk much about all the organic stuff I use, but I thought it was time. Besides the food for the babies, I also try to use baby products that are organic or at least free of some of the harmful chemicals they love to put in baby products, such as formaldehyde or 1,4dioxane. Baby wipes, shampoos, lotions, diaper creams, etc are loaded with some icky things that I don't want being absorbed into my kids bodies. Well I happened to run upon this great website http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ . I had a great time looking up all the baby products. If you look at the top right of the site they have a Baby Care section and you can pick what type of baby item you want to check out. It will rate the products by risk factor and give you the best to worst ones. You can also do a search on a particular chemical, brand name, or product. I thought it was interesting to see what products had cancer causing chemicals in them. Happy searching!

14 Months Old

So I haven't decided when I am going to stop with the monthly photos, maybe I will just keep doing it until they are off to college. I like to think that it will be neat to look back and see how they have grown each month. They are continuing to learn new things all the time and improve on skills they already have acquired. I am thinking that walking will be mastered soon. They are practicing standing alone, but then love to fall forward onto Mommy. They continue to do well eating and pretty much eat anything I give them and a lot of it. They can eat 3 whole bananas (all together) in once setting and that is not including the other foods they are eating at that meal. So for fun I think I will list what they ate today just to show how much they are really eating...(warning: I am a bit neurotic about their food and its generally all organic or as all natural as possible)

Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs (for all 3), 3 whole wheat blueberry pancakes, 3 bananas, Kamut puffs (type of dry cereal to self feed while I am cleaning up), milk/rice milk to drink.

Lunch: Tofu squares rolled in wheat germ, ground flax seeds and Cinnamon, half a bag of cooked baby carrots, cottage cheese (half the container), 2 avocados, milk/rice milk to drink.

Dinner: 1 shredded chicken breast, half a head of cauliflower, half a block of cheese shredded, whole wheat noodles, 1 mango, milk/rice milk to drink

Snack: Organic Cheerios type cereal, water to drink

Snack: all combined-1.5 cups of plain yogurt, half a cup of applesauce, ground flax seeds, baby cereal to thicken some, water to drink.

No wonder I am going to the grocery store all the time.
