Swiffer Workers

Dusting has become the new favorite thing for the triplets. I love it because the Swiffer Dusters are easy to use and when I tell the babies where to dust, it actually works! So now what else can I have them do, hmmm I wonder if unloading the dishwasher is too much? Okay so maybe not yet, but one day, I can only dream right now. They also love to use the floor duster, the Swiffer Sweeper and vaccum. Hmm this is starting to sound like a Swiffer advertisement, maybe I can get some free Swiffer stuff if I keep saying Swiffer, yes folks thats right Swiffer products are used and trusted by triplet moms everywhere! (hey Swiffer where is my free stuff, or better yet how about a commercial?!?)

We Are Walking!

We have walkers in the house! All three are now taking several steps to walking across the room on their own. In this past week they have really been practicing on their own. No more Mommy trying to get them to "walk to Mommy". They still seem to think that crawling is definately the more conveinent way to get around especially if there is a race to get a prized toy or a prized item that is off limits such as the TV remote control. They are also trying oh so hard to climb onto the couch. Oh my!! They have managed to figure out if the ottoman is next to the couch that they are able to climb onto that and then they can get onto the couch with ease. So I have to keep that ottoman a considerable distance from the couch now. My Christmas Tree is placed behind the couch so they are unable to reach it, that is unless they get onto the couch!!Only a few more weeks to go, then the tree will be down and that issue will be gone! Whew!

16 months old!

Well we are so close to walking, everyone is taking steps alone but not all the time. So its coming anytime. So adjusted age they are 13.5 months, so that is average for walking.
We have our Christmas tree up, as one of the photos above shows and the babies love it! I was tricky and put it in the corner of the living room and moved the couch in front of it. Now they can look but cant touch, that makes my life a whole lot easier. A few years ago I had one of our dogs knock over the Christmas tree and I wasn't going to do that again!!

Look At Us Grow...

This is the new "chicken little" hair style. It is created by pulling OUT your hair bow that your Mommy put in your hair earlier that day.

So I like to occasionally do the look back at a year or so ago to compaire the changes of the babies. Wow have they grown, I mean they were so tiny last year at this time and now they are big toddlers. What happened to my babies? You know as sweet as they were then I really do enjoy being able to sleep through the night, not having to pump breastmilk all the time and having more interaction with them now. However I do recall enjoying the 3-4 naps a day then, laying them down somewhere when they were awake and they actually stayed right there, they actually laid STILL for a diaper change, they werent bitting each other all the time, and climbing on the coffee table. Now wait a minute, which stage did I think was the best?!? I am getting confused here, oh well I guess every stage has its pros and cons. I enjoy them all!

Backyard Wars

Well not only do I have my three beautiful babies, I also have my two fur babies. Yes the fur babies are my dogs who have recently engaged in an all out attack/war in our backyard with the squirrels. Yes these cute little backyard creatures are busy gathering their nuts for the long winter and my sweet little dogs are on the hunt. At first I thought it was all my dogs, the poor innocent squirrels are just minding their own business while my dogs bark non stop at them while looking out the window wishing they could run out and chase one. Well today while I was sitting at my computer, I noticed this sweet little squirrel making its way up to the window. Apparently the squirrels in my my yard are not so Innocent and I have now seen first hand how they taunt and egg on my poor inside dogs. So to be fair, I let my dogs out for a little game of chase the squirrel. The squirrel won. (Just for the record, my dogs have never hurt any creature, not even a frog, lizard, etc, so I knew the squirrel would be fine.)

New Skills

So I guess that we are now entering a new phase, the learning how to take off our clothes phase! Oh Mommy is so excited for this one. Yes today when I went into the boys' room after their nap I saw the beautiful site above. Granted the shirt is a little big on him, but still he was on his way to taking it all the way off, just give it some time and the clothes will be flying!

The Fridge

I am sure many of you are wondering WHY is she posting pictures of her fridge on the blog. How is this related to three cute babies and has she finally lost her mind? Actually I read many other blogs by triplet moms and this one http://www.jbrooke7.typepad.com/ challenged everyone to take the step of posting their fridge on their blog. I am all for that as I am nosey and like to see what others have to eat, plus there might be some good ideas in there. Well mine isnt too exciting, and I do need to get a few more things like cottage cheese, milk, and yogurt for the babies. Now freezers that is a whole different story. The freezer on this fridge is totally dedicated to the babies food! We recently purchaced a big chest freezer for the garage and that holds the rest of the frozen foods.

Well as for inventory, I will be brief:

First shelf: Milk, juice, water, rice milk

Second shelf: tons of eggs, cream cheese, sour cream, left over cauliflower

Bottom shelf: ground beef, yogurt, tofu, huge jar of pickles (thanks to my darling husband), tortillas

Crisper: veggies

Door: butter, wheat germ, flax seeds, condiments, rice milk, pickles, jam, peanut butter, tahini, garlic, baby teethers, etc.

I hope you all enjoyed my fridge as much as I do!

You've got your hands full!

This is a comment I get a lot when I am out with the babies. I guess its true, but sometimes I get annoyed after I have heard it about 1,000 times in 5 minutes while trying to get down the aisle in the store with 3 restless toddlers.

Ode to Dogs

Okay so the trick to get them to stand together at once and to look outside at the same time is called "Oh look at those Dogs outside!" Thank you neighbors for your outside dogs to entertain my children and let me capture a few sweet triplet themed photos here and there.

Pumpkins

The babies are loving the Pumpkins. They look like balls to them, which are one of their favorite toys. They also love to eat them, cooked that is.
