20 Months

We are enjoying our new picnic table. Granted in all of these pictures you really cant see the whole thing, just the table top. Once the weather is consistantly nice, it will be moved outside.

Yes we like to sit on top of the table, i struggle on whether or not I was going to allow this, but in the end it was a fight I just didnt feel was that important. So now they enjoy their picnic table/climber!

I guess a picnic table can also be used to practice future modeling poses or maybe that is a yoga pose, looks like he might be getting into the Cobra Pose.

And sometimes we just like to be silly like Monkeys!

I think this was an attempt to "clean" the table. Such good helpers.

The Shirts Say it All....

Actually, these shirts would have been more appropriate when they first came home from the hosptial, now that is the true definition of exhaustion!

Lamb Picture

I had their 18 month photos taken last month. It was a spring theme with a real live lamb. The babies were so excited to see the lamb! They were hugging and kissing him, it was so cute. Here is one of the pictures from that photo shoot.

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter. We started out the day with a nice Breakfast at home and enjoyed our Easter Baskets. Our baskets were simple this year filled with some new blocks, plastic easter eggs and books. No candy, Daddy thought I was mean for the no candy rule, but I am not doing candy as long as I can get away with it. I am not big on the High Fructose Corn Syrups, Red Dye 40, Yellow 5 and 6, artificial sweetners, artificial flavors, etc being consumed by my kiddos, so I guess they are going to miss out on the traditional Easter Candy. I did see some organic candies at the store the other day, so maybe there is hope for the kids.....someday!

We spent the afternoon/evening at Grandma and Grandpa's house and enjoyed a nice Easter Dinner. The babies had a fun time playing and learned to hunt for Easter Eggs. Granted that only lasted for a few minutes as they were off hunting for the cat!

This year's Easter Triplets and Last Year's Easter Triplets.

Easter Bunny

We managed to avoid any major meltdowns when we met the Easter Bunny a few weeks ago. I wasnt quite sure how they would react. They were pretty excited to see the "big bunny" and liked hugging him. No bigs smiles for the camera as they werent too keen about having to sit, they were more interested in walking around by the bunny.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

BALL PIT!

We have a new addition to our toys, a ball pit!! Daddy picked it out and set it up for us and we love it!! Thanks Daddy!

Exploring in the Backyard

Exploring the great backyard has become one of our new found loves. Dogs on both sides of the yard to interact with, lots and lots of sticks to pick up, walnut shells to gather and are refered to as "footballs" by the babies, collecting rocks and chasing bubbles blown by mommy. Soon I am going to be bringing their climber outside so they can slide and climb.

The Circus

We went to the circus over the weekend and had a grand time. The babies were NOT scared of clowns, which was a surprise! We also got to sit right up front literally next to one of the circus "rings". That was a perk for having triplets !

Here we are in our Circus Train with some Clowns.

Our Seats for the Circus, the babies sat in their "circus train" most of the time.

When we go to the park the kids get to feed the ducks. I give them some bread or crackers while they are sitting in their choo choo wagon and they throw it to the ducks. Well when the Tigers came out the babies started to throw their crackers that they were eating into the ring for the Tigers. It was too cute and so funny to watch.

Daddy even got to be a part of the circus, he was picked out of the crowd to participate.

I took pictures of the Elephants but they didnt turn out too well, it was too dark. Overall it was a good time and the babies did excellent for their age. The next day I was at walmart with the babies in the choo choo wagon. I was in the check out line and the lady infront of me asked me if they were triplets, I said yes, and then she proceeded to ask if we were at the circus yesterday. I said yes and she said that she recognized the wagon and wondered if it was us. I thought that was pretty funny.

Today at the mall when we were leaving I spotted another set of triplets coming into the mall. The people around us were pretty shocked to see 2 sets of triplets at one time. It was pretty funny. I was excited to see another triplet mommy, I didnt know this mom she was not a member of our local Moms Of Multiples Club. So I gave her contact information, etc. Her triplets were BGG and about the same age as mine. Pretty exciting for me, another mommy to talk with! I told her that she was going to really get a lot of comments since i had just been through the mall with my triplets, now people will really flip seeing another set!

19 Months Old

It was a nice day today, so we went to the Park with Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma and our Auntie (who came into town to visit). We got to feed the ducks and also had our first picnic! The triplets were able to play on the toddler playground equipment for the first time, finally enough adults to chase the running toddlers! When its just mommy and babies, they have to stay in their Choo Choo Wagon. Now I have a feeling that we arent going to be able to go back to this park for a while as they will want to get out and play on the slides again and not stay in the Choo Choo Wagon (who wouldnt?). When they get a bit bigger, I might let them out when I am by myself with them. Eeek, the thought is just scary!!!! Three kiddos running off in three different directions!
